Dr. Bob Pearce annually maintains ongoing hemp variety trials for grain and fiber purposes at the Robinson Center evaluating the agronomic performance and adaptability to Kentucky environments and production systems. This research has been part of a multistate project since 2020 with collaborators from universities located around the United States providing complimentary and holistic evaluations of hemp cultivars in different environments allowing growers and entrepreneurs access to valuable information in choosing the best cultivars for their specific needs and growing conditions.
